All paddlers must be 12 or older to paddle a single kayak. If under 12, then they can share a tandem kayak with an adult or guardian 18+ (we offer a family tandem rate with $5 off). Max weight limit for single kayaks is 275 lbs.

MKC @ Main location in Jerry's Docks
We've been at this location since we opened in Spring 2013! MKC @ Jerry's Docks is located in the Milwaukee Harbor District across the river from the Historic Third Ward. We're close to the Broadway Street bridge which is the first bascule bridge when traveling upriver from the Harbor/Hoan Bridge up to the confluence of the Menomonee and Milwaukee River (downtown Milwaukee). Free parking in our parking lot or on the street. Single kayaks, tandem kayaks, canoes and paddleboards available. Most of our tours launch from our main location.

Located on the north end of downtown, quiet and located on the Milwaukee Riverwalk on the Milwaukee River. Parking right by us in the Schlitz Park parking lot. Single kayaks available (must be at least 12 years old to paddle own kayak).

Cool restaurant located on the Menomonee River, west of the Harley-Davidson Museum, about a quiet 20 minute paddle to the confluence of the rivers where you can paddle up through downtown Milwaukee on the Milwaukee River. Free parking in the Twisted Fisherman parking lot. Single kayaks and tandem kayaks available.

Daily Rental Rates
DAILY RENTALS -
Our main location is open 7 days/week for daily rentals. Our additional weekend location at Schlitz Park is open Saturdays and Sundays only. Rentals are for up to 4 hours. You can return your boats whenever you’d like during those 4 hours. Some paddlers stay out for an hour, some stay out for 4 hours – it’s all up to you. If you think you’d like your rentals longer than 4 hours, please let us know and we can talk about options. Our Schlitz Park location offers 2 hour rentals as well.
TOURS -
Our weekly guided tours are safe, fun and educational. We will gather as a group, launch and paddle together. All of our guided tours include safety boaters to help guide everyone along the way. Sometimes we will make a stop on the river where we can get out and stretch and/or grab a beverage – it just depends on the tour. Most of our tours are 3 hours long with 2 – 2 -1/2 hours spent paddling on our rivers. You can find our calendar by clicking on the “BOOK NOW” button on the bottom right.
School and group tours with safety boaters or a guide. If you would like to organize a school group, community organization or special group outing, please give us a call or send an email @ info@milwaukeekayak.com anytime. We can talk about general timelines, dates, rates, how it all works, our rivers and everything else to make your tour fun, safe and enjoyable. You can go out on your own (similar to a daily rental) or we can provide safety boaters at an additional cost. If you would like a guide to accompany your group for a more educational experience, there is an additional charge.
GENERAL INFO -
All rentals include a boat (kayak, paddleboard, canoe), life jacket and paddle. We have a limited supply of dry bags you can borrow for your belongings. Please remember we are not responsible for lost, stolen or wet items. Life jackets must be worn at all times when near or on the water, thanks.
All participants need to be 12+ to paddle their own kayaks. If under the age of 12, then that paddler can share a tandem kayak or canoe with an adult (18+). All participants need to know how to swim.
The weight limit of our most stable kayak is 275 lbs depending on river and weather conditions. If weight is a concern, please give us a call to chat and/or make an appointment to talk about options or test paddling.
Everyone must submit a waiver before arrival. When making your reservation, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to our waiver. You can also find our waiver on the top right of our website. Thanks!
